Background: Our team designed and executed all visual elements for the United Nations LDC5 Conference in Doha. LDC stands for Least Developed Countries: the conference brought together world leaders and delegates from the 46 Least Developed Countries to coalesce around initiatives expanded from the Doha Programme of Action. The campaign won a SABRE award and a Bronze Transform Award.
My role: From a skeleton brief, visual identity, unfinished script, and all found footage from the LDCs, I developed and edited the opening film and teaser film with the oversight of a design director, working on a tight timeline. I worked closely with a motion designer and sound designer to create an impactful & inspiring film to set the tone for the entire conference, which was also exhibited in the main lobby of the UN headquarters in New York City. I also edited the case study video on an extremely tight timeline.
Skills shown: found footage, pacing, editing to music (and editing music), motion & composition-matching, art direction, project management, emotional impact & persuasion, nonprofit & NGO
Platforms: Live screening, Exhibition, Vimeo, X, LinkedIn
